Wrapping the 2024 Trekkies Tour with a Podcast
With all of the audio content in the world, getting to speak on a podcast isn't that remarkable. But still, who doesn't like to hear themselves talk, especially when it comes to a topic we feel passionate about? Seriously, I was honored to be invited by host Matthew Kaplowitz to appear on his show Trek Untold, particularly since it's a long-running series with an impressive roster of guests from the Star Trek universe, including big names like Jonathan Frakes and Gates McFadden.
Like it says right up front, the show goes “beyond the stars” to interview voice actors, craftspeople, and even fans like me who are building on the legacy of Gene Roddenberry and all the artists and performers who turned a TV show into a cultural phenomenon. As described in the episode, it was a long and surprisingly difficult road to be a fan in the early days, and it was a pleasure to talk about it with a knowledgeable and engaging host.
